What Causes A Feel Of Lump In Throat While Swallowing?

I have just developed a pain whilst swallowing on the front left side of my throat. there is a lump which moves when swallowing and scrapes against the throat. there is no pain at any other time and the lump cannot be felt unless swallowing. it is not a stuck object but is the same every time left of adams apple.
