What Causes A Fluid Filled Bump Under The Armpit?

I, up until recently, had this small lump under my armpit. Today I was messing with it and peeled of the top. Out of it came a substance almost like what comes out of pimples and it smelt like musky deodorant. can you tell me what this bump is called?
