What Causes A Hard Lump In The Pelvic Area?

I have a marble size hard feeling mass feels like its deep inside my skin on the right side of my pelvic area. Like where between my vulva and leg meet. This comes and goes I think I recongize it when I come off my menstrual cycle. I doesnt necessarily hurt but I can feel it when it is rubbed up against something.
