What Causes A Hard Lump On My Left Tonsillar Pillar That Rubs Against My Tongue; Given My History With HPV Exposure And Occult Hepatitis B?

I m 40 years old and a couple nights ago I discovered a lump on my left anterior tonsillar pillar. At first I thought it was a random water-filled cyst like others I ve gotten in the past after eating hot foods, but upon further examination, it appears to be a a solid hard mass. It is not painful, but I can feel it rubbing against the side of the back of my tongue. After googling, the only thing I m able to find is results for cancer. I m terrified because I know my wife did test positive for precancerous cells from HPV a year after we started dating 9 years ago, and it took her 2 years to clear it, meaning she likely acquired it from me. I am also a Hep B carrier in the form of Occult Hep B (OBI) from a previous relationship where my ex didn t know she was a chronic carrier. OBI is super rare after clearing the acute infection as I was told I did 10 years ago, and I only found out a month ago that I still have the virus replicating at low levels in my liver. I m afraid I have susceptibility that doesn t let me shake these cancer-causing viruses.
