What Causes A Lump In The Solar Plexus With Sense Of Obstruction In The Throat?

I have a lump in my solar plexus and a lump sensation in my throat. I previously had very bad indigestion for 1 year which has now become more mild. No real trouble actually swallowing but gurgling sensation sometimes when drinking.
My gastro doctor indicated it was globus sensation. What do you think.
