What Causes A Lump On Left Side Of Neck Leading To Dizziness?

I have a lump on left side of neck in I believe the carodit artery but it s higher not lower. I also get dizzy spells and extremely hot at least 20 times a day and throughout the night along with that my whole body gets red and flushed from my chest up and arms is this lump blocking blood and oxygen to brain?
