What Causes A Lump On The Knee Along With Severe Pain In Calf Muscle?

two months had a bruise the size of an orange on the side of my right knee. It took about two weeks to go away, but after it was gone, it left a lump in its place. It took a couple of weeks to go away. However, now I have severe pain in my calf below my right knee. It occurs when I stand from sitting or driving and sometimes while lying down, but goes away after standing for a few minutes.
