What Causes A Painful Lump On The Cheek?

My daughter has a lump in her right cheek, it is extremely painful. MRI and CAT scan have both been done...her face is now going numb on her right side...doctors have not been able to help her...pain they say from up being to close to jaw nerve...we are now trying to find a doctor that can help
