What Causes A "fizzing Sound" Experience Consistently?

I have a fizzing sound that I experience every 10 minutes or so, not so much like soda fizzing, more like the way an ice cube sounds when it's melting in a glass just before the pop of air escaping from inside it. Any ideas on what it might be?
