What Causes A Rash On The Labia Majora?

my labia minora and majora itches at times. my doctor gave me doxycycline to take for ten days. i use sensitive skin dove soap on my body. somes the outside of the labia majora looks like i developed a rash then it will go away a few days later. i dont know what the cause of this is.
