What Causes A Sense Of Obstruction In The Throat?

Hi.. I have been experiencing a weird lump in the back of my throat feeling for the last 2 days. I have had a bad allergy/cold and was put on steroids and cough medicine in addition to Flonase and Zytrec that I already take PRN. I have had a pretty significant cough over the last 2 weeks and have been bringing up a lot of mucus and blowing my nose like crazy. It has decreased tremendously since I started the meds. I have also had a little bit of an indigestion feeling going on for a day or two. Any clue what might be causing the lump feeling?
