What Causes A Small Lump With A Crater And A Black Dot On My Skin?

I am a 28 year old female and recently discovered a small pea sized lump in my right arm pit - the lump is not visible on the outside but is internal. However, externally a small crater is visible on the skin with a black dot in the middle. Any ideas?
