What Causes A Squishy Lump On The Vagina?

I have a bump on the skin of my vagina. It is purple and is not a flat surface. It feels like a bubble. I am sexually active but always use protection. I have also went tanning before if it has to do with skin conditions. Please help. I do not have time to go to an actual gynecologist.
