What Causes A Tender Spot Which Is Sensitive On Left Side Of Head?

I have a tender spot on the left side of my head. I never have headaches or anything. It's more sensitive when brushing my hair, or running my hands through it. the odd times I get a funny sensation in my head but nothing serious or painful. Please advise what this might be or to worry about.
