What Causes A Welt Rash With High ANA, WBC And CRP?

I have a rash that started at the beginning of the month. I originally thought it was hives so I dismissed it...however, the red welt-ey rash has progressed and comes and goes throughout the day. I've seen a GP who referred me to a dermatologist. She took blood work that came back with my ANA high, white blood count high and reactive protein high. She also took a biopsey and I have yet to receive the results. Both doctors ruled out hives and said my immune system is reacting to something...I have been referred to a rehumotoligist (sp). Any thoughts on what I have or what is causing this??
