What Causes A Whitehead On The Skin In Between The Breasts?

my 13 year old daughter had what she thought was a whitehead between her breasts she squeezed it and come yellow discharge came out she and I are now concerned because it has left a hole that is sometimes painful when she moves. the hole has been there now for 3 days now . should we be concerned?
