What Causes A Woman To Bleed After Sex?

I am bleeding about a quarter size amount everytime I have intercourse with my fiance. He is big and I am, he says, really tight. We actually did not fit together at first but eased into comfortable sex and now I have started bleeding. Is this normal? What should I do?
