What Causes Abdominal Cramping During Breast Feed?

I breastfeed my 7 1/2 week old son about twice a day, the rest of the time he is given formula. I have been having period like cramping for a few days but no period shows. Should I be worried that I am pregnant again or does it have anything to do with breastfeeding?
