What Causes Abdominal Cramps, Nausea And Diarrhea?

I have been experiencing severe stomach or intestinal pain, cramps accompanied by excess digestive acids forming causing me to vomit making it hard to keep foods and liquids down. Diarrhea and nausea occurred the first three days and now six days into this I am still having difficulty. I don't seem to have any fever or congestion problems and was wondering if this is a stomach flu or have I developed an irritable bowl syndrome? In either case, what are the most effective remedies to curtail these symptoms?
