What Causes Abdominal Pain After Appendicitis Operation?

Hi, My mom is 59 years old, she had her appendictis operation done 4 years back. she started getting pain in her stomach and abdomen, she was hospitalised and had a CT scan and endoscopy done. there was some thickness found in the CT scan report, but no ulcer, tuberclosis or cancer diagonosed, she was discharged after a week's treatment, she still suffers from the pain. what can be done to cure her illness?
