What Causes Abdominal Pain After Hysterectomy?

Hello, I am 42 years old. I had a hysterectomy 6 years ago leaving both ovaries for endometriosis and adenomyosis and have been pain free. Is it possible for me to start having severe pain every month related to either one of these? An ultrasound showed normal sized ovaries with no cyst. thank you!
