What Causes Abdominal Pain And Blood In Urine?

I just saw a Urologist and They are ordering a CT Scan. After I have the CT Scan I go back to the doctor on the 31st to have another test Cystology and to go over my results. In the mean time I m having these attack where i have pain in my lower abdomen and blood in my urine. I know from what I ve researched that I may have kidney stone which is why I m having these attacked intermittently. Any idea why I have to wait so long before I see the doctor.
