What Causes Abdominal Pain In Left,bloating And Constipation?

HI I have had pain in my upper left side under my rib cage for about 4wks. My Dr 1st thought I had gastric flu due to the fact I was pyrexic. 2 weeks of lansoprozole & anti sickness meds and still no different. My 2nd visit I was very tender on my left side and very painful on below my sternum, he believes I could have torn my abdominal rectus muscle. 2wks of lansoprozole and 2 tablets a day of Naproxin. I am due back again this week still have pain and discomfort when I over exert myself, seems to be worse as the day goes on. I have also had trouble with bloating and constipation, (that may be tablets). What should I ask for or say next visit or do you have any idea?? I am signed off work as I work 12hr shift and can be physically hard.
