What Causes Abdominal Pain With White Mucus On The Rectum?

my daughter has been having stomach aches for about 6 days and now there is a white mucus wrapped around it. What causes that? She did have the flu around a week and a half ago as well. Should I take her to the doctors. I myself have chrohns but it is more like IBS symptons. Should I be worried.
