What Causes Abnormal Heart Beats Along With Pulsation In Upper Arm?

I keep feeling my heart beat in my chest - without trying to feel it and its so strong it hurts sometimes and it often wakes me up. Additionally I often feel a pulse in my upper left arm and I don t know why. They sometimes happen together, sometimes they happen on separate occations. Why?
