What Causes Abnormal Itching On Stomach?

I am a 62 year old man and for nearly a year I have been dealing with a mild to moderate condition of an itchy belly. There is absolutely no redness or rash, swelling or anything out of the ordinary other than the itch. Do you have any solutions? Thank you
