What Causes Abnormal Periods?

hi i'am 23 yrs old and i have a dermoid cyst in right ovary and polycystic cyst in left my doctory told me to take diane 35, i just want to ask if thats help to gone the cyst in my ovary?

my monthly period is rly abnormal.. i have menstration if every 3 months for a small amount only..
