What Causes Abnormal Vaginal Bleeding After Taking Unwanted 72?

hello doctor... i had protected sex with my gf.. but in order to be totally sure about the pregnancy she took unwanted 72 tablet (within 24 hours)... now after 7-8 days she is bleeding irregularly even when she had her periods on 5th of this month.
Is this because of the tablet?? please help...
