What Causes Abrupt Vaginal Bleeding?

I fractured my wrist, having the cast on I was in so much pain so I took it off, its been about four days, since this morning I noticed I was bleeding after I went pee, and I haven't stopped, i had my menstrual cycle last week. Why am I bleeding?
