What Causes Absence Of Periods Along With Night Sweats?

I am a 54 year old female, haven't had a period since August 2014. I have night sweats super bad, all night. I understand these are probably menopausal. What's troubling is that even when I don't have night sweats badly, every time it wake up not sweating, as soon as I'm awake, I START sweating profusely. What's up with this?
