What Causes Acid Reflux Along With Irritation In Lower Oesophagus?

1 year ago started experiencing severe acid reflux. Subsequently developed asthma, on 2 inhalers and 1 rescue inhaler. Rx of Nexium, an otc acid reducer. Also diagnosed with irritation of lower esophagus and upper stomach (endoscopy). Still experiencing reflux (actual vomiting). Is there something else I should be asking about. What are the risks if this continues?
