What Causes Acid Reflux And Heartburn While Trying To Wean Of Off Prilosec?

I am trying to wean off Prilosec and have been using ACV to try to help with the acid reflux, although it really hasn't helped yet. I have had AR for quite some time but want to get off meds and try something more natural. However, ever time I don't take the Prilosec I have terrible acid reflux and heartburn and also get dizzy/ lightheaded/brain fog and a bit of nausea with it. Is this normal to feel symptoms other than the acid reflux and heartburn?
