What Causes An Indentation On The Right Side Of Rib Cage?

I have a medium sized indentation on the right side of my rib cage. The right side of my rob cage seems to be slanted inwards at a angle unlike the left side which has the normal round form to it. I do experience a sharp stabbing pain at the bottom of my ribs occasionally and I do have back problems I went to the local utmb but the doctor had no clue what she was looking at is there any surgery or procedure that can be done? It seems to be getting worse and I am beginning to become very concerned
