What Causes An Unusual Smell During Urination?

Why would my urine have a strong metallic smell? I use therapeutic grade Young Living essential oils. Often they cause detox. Could this be an odor from that? For several years my lymphatic system has not worked and i had to pump my legs two hours day for the rest of mu life to keep swelling down. Since using the oils, i have not had to use my leg pumps.

So could the odor be a detox process since my lymph system has not worked for so long?
