What Causes Appearance Of Red Spots All Over The Body?

I am 58 years old, and a year ago red blotches started appearing on my back and shoulders, then my stomach, chest and upper legs. They are dime sized on my stomach and larger on back and shoulders.

My skin on my arms and back will have areas that look liked they were scratched and have and have scabed. They don't itch or hurt.
