What Causes Arm Soreness?

Hello Dr. For the past two days I've been experiencing soreness in the area of the basilic vein in my left arm, I'm not sure actually if is the vein that is sore; however, when I press down where the vein is, it hurts and if a follow the vein like three fingers down it is also painful. It is not red and also not swollen. Should I be concern?
