What Causes Back Pain After Skipping Medicine For Diabetes?

I am having back pain toward the middle of my right side of my back. I was said to be diabetic and today I ate a lot of chocolate candy. I forgot to take my oral diabetic meds...(metaphor in in 1000 units a day and januvia once a day). I did take my meds later in the day after the fact of eating the sweets. Could this be what is hurting my back?
