What Causes Bad Body Odor In A Dialysis Patient?

My husband is on dialysis 3 times a weeks. He keeps a musty gym like odor. The odor is even in his bedroom like a gym room. We can wash his clothes and bed linen, mop the bedroom floor and the room has the musty odor within one to two days. He takes baths frequently. What is causing the odor and what can he use to eliminate the odor?
