What Causes Bad Odor To The Periods?
Good morning Doctor,
I have a question concerning the smell of my menstrual blood.
Last week I had a very heavy period with several very large clots, and while that is not so unusual for me the smell certainly was! if I waited 2-3 hours to change my tampon It smelled like meat does right before it goes bad.
I am 45 and have been having period irregularities for about 3 years now. I also have fibroid and ovarian cycts.
