What Causes Bad Spasms During Intercourse?

since childbirth i have had lots of surgeries and have suffered with bad spasms during foreplay. my body goes into one big spasm. my arms and legs cramp up until the spasm passes. do you no what i am suffering with. i was ok before my children which was 21 years ago.many thanks
