What Causes Bent And Pain In Penis During Erection?

About six months ago I noticed while having an erection that my penis had bent about have way up towards the right. When I get an erection it actually causes some pain. When it is flaccid I feel like a small knot right in the area Of the bend when it is erect. What could this be and can it be fixed?
