What Causes Bilateral Swelling On Cheek Area?

I seem to have bilateral swellings in the cheek area just above the corner of the mandible in front of the ear. No pain at all. I have Type 2 Diabetes. Am taking Glucophage, Actos, Benicar HCT, Zocor. Actually, my mother noticed it and was very concerned because she said it doesn't just look like swelling from water retention. Just curious if you might have an idea of what it could be. Thank you. Mike
