What Causes Black Colored Vaginal Discharge After Having Leep Procedure?

Hi, I just had a leep procedure done and now after been down for about a week I am now noticing a black colored discharge that smells...I have not had a cycle since Feb and I am not sure what it could be...I do have a mild case of HPV with minor symptoms...I do not go back to the doctor until thur...Do I need to go to the emergency room?
