What Causes Black Dot On Ankle After A Spider Bite?

I have a bite on my ankle that has a black center that I thought was a tick but is just a black dot the size of a small tick. It is raised around it and red and itches. I have been bitten by spiders recently but did not have a black center ... could this also be a spider bite?
