What Causes Black Sore Inside Nostril?

I have had a black sore on the inside of my left nostril.for a couple ,months now I KEEP picking at it trying to get the black part out ..I did get some out, but not all of it. There is also a hole there too . COULD this be cancerous? I am losing weight also.e
