What Causes Black Spot On Penis?

I've been noticing something more often. Whenever I use the bathroom, I notice a black spot on my penis. It seems like an impression and there's a lighter shade of a black area around it. It covers about half of the head of my penis. It sometimes worries me. Any ideas as to what it could be?
