What Causes Black Spots On Penis?

Thanks.I have black spots (not pimples ,just spots)) on my penis.These are quite spread out but particularly visible on the corona since it is lighter in color.I have had them for years.They dont itch or give any problems.What is the cause of these spots.Age 52; weight 85 Kgs.No particular health problems.
