What Causes Bleeding After Injury To Parietal Bone?

Got hit in parietal bone from a stray golf ball. Had to get three stitches yesterday and was told to shower after to get all the blood out of my hair. I can t see the wound, but it is still oozing (not sure if blood or fluids) making my hair into a helmet. Is this normal?
