What Causes Bleeding Between Periods?

Hy, I'm 20 years old and I'm having problems on my periods.this is my first time I never had problems like this before. I have my period's on Dec 27-31 and my period end and after 6 days it start bleeding agian.please help me, and do I need worry about it or not
