What Causes Bleeding During Intercourse?

I think my girlfriend had perfomed abotion and she is acting to be menstration. First we had sex then passes one month without periods then in a second week of the next mont. We had sex and I unexpectedly she started bleeding while having sex. Then she says its her period. So I m confused is it real or she is hiding something. Plz I need your help
